When his convoy was ambushed while on patrol south of Baghdad, Sergeant Mike stepped up and took the challenge, protecting his unit from an incredibly large anit-Iraqi force. His precise shooting and his medical assistance earned him a silver star and a beautiful painted recreation of the battle.
